I have it on good authority that someone is posting a little about me and my Etsy habit in her blog today, complete with photos of my needle felted work in progress, and my beloved Greybird, Felix. My friend Heather, of NiftyKnits Etsy fame is posting a bit of a Q & A we did. Now, I haven’t been posting so regularly lately, but there’s nothing like company to make me tidy up the house. And by house, I mean blog. And by blog, I mean OMG-Write-Something-Quickly-Everybody’s-Looking! I won’t even look at my blog stats before I post this because I don’t want to know how many people have seen that I haven’t posted in three weeks. Ha! Well, no harm done. Life gets in the way, anybody who lives and breathes can identify with that.
Take a minute and peek at Heather’s blog. She is crafty, clever, and provides us with profiles of Etsy awesomeness, frequently including the fabulous Etsy Treasury Team, as well as amusing commentary about day to day life. She also does the most incredible things with yarn. Since I have never been able to progress beyond small, misshapen potholders, this absolutely blows my mind:
Trekkie Meerkats! A cooler thing knitted, you will never see.

…and no. I really won’t stop talking about Etsy any time soon. What with friends opening shops, and my daydreaming about the possibilities… Etsy Etsy Etsy. Please tell them they ought to let me have the username “B” though. It’s appropriate, and only fair considering how much publicity 80% of my name gives them. Seriously, how cool would the shop address www.b.etsy.com be?
Please, Etsy?

I love knifty’s star trek characters. I believe they are the real thing in another dimension.
